Applying to the DC Trombone Workshop

Step 1
: Fill out the application form by clicking on the image below

Step 2: Pay the DCTW 2022 Application Fee. This application fee is non-refundable. This fee will count towards tuition costs for the 2023 workshop for individuals who are accepted into the program.

Step 3: (optional) Applicants may have a letter of recommendation emailed on their behalf to dctwdirector@gmail.com
                            
Step 4: You will be contacted regarding acceptance to the program within two weeks of the submission of your application. 

Step 5: Submit payment to secure your spot at the 2023 DC Trombone Workshop.
2023 Audition Guidelines
  • Audio and Video submissions are accepted.
  • Use a YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox link in your application
  • Recordings may be one continuous take or each piece may be recorded separately

2023 Audition Repertoire
​General Applications: 
  • Up to 5 minutes of solos, etudes and/or excerpts of your choice​
​
Applications to be considered for scholarship/work study/aid:
  • Tenor Trombone​​
    1. ​​Mozart, Tuba Mirum (mm. 1-18)
    2. Beach, "Gaelic" Symphony (mvt. 1, 17 after Q to the end) 
    3. 2-3 minutes of solos, etudes, and/or excerpts of your choice​
