​Please check back for information about online educational initiatives we will be providing.***

Interested trombonists that were planning to apply for the 2020 DC Trombone Workshop - you are still encouraged to submit applications by 11:59pm PT on May 1st.  We will provide the following to applicants:
- Feedback on audition recordings
- Guaranteed spot at the 2021 DC Trombone Workshop for applicants who would have been accepted to the 2020 program
- Priority access (and discounted rates if applicable) for any online programs offered by the DC Trombone Workshop during the COVID-19 pandemic


Steps 1 and 2 (and optionally 3) are the only steps that should to be taken at this time for interested applicants.

Step 1: Fill out the application form and email it to dctwdirector@gmail.com ​

​Step 2: Send an audio or video recording as a file in an email or a YouTube link to dctwdirector@gmail.com

       Audition Repertoire: 3-5 minutes of solos and/or excerpts of your choice

       *The panel reviewing recordings will sympathetically take into consideration the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 in regards to location and equipment used for recordings.

Step 3: (optional) Applicants may have a letter of recommendation emailed on their behalf to dctwdirector@gmail.com (must be received by May 1st, 2020)


Step 4: Pay the non-refundable $50 online application fee (see below).  The application fee counts towards the cost of tuition for accepted applicants.
        ***The application fee has been waived for the 2020 DC Trombone Workshop in response to the ongoing effects of COVID-19
            - The cost of tuition remains the same
            - Applicants that have already paid the application fee:
                    if you are accepted the application fee will count towards the cost of tuition
                    if you are not accepted you will be refunded the cost of the application fee
                            

Step 5: You will be contacted regarding acceptance to the program by May 5th, 2020.  More detailed information regarding payment will be sent at this time.

Step 6: Submit payment by May 15th, 2020 to secure your spot at the 2020 DC Trombone Workshop.
